Rajiv, Impel Pharmaceuticals’ Vice President, Corporate Controller and Interim Chief Financial Officer, brings to the Company over 25 years of finance experience in various public and private equity backed Fortune 500 companies within the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Prior to joining Impel, Rajiv served as a Senior Director of Financial Reporting and Tax at Kyowa Kirin Co., Ltd., a global specialty pharmaceutical company focused on drug discovery and delivery. Rajiv also served as Controller, Americas at Convatec Group Plc, a global medical products and technologies company, and as Senior Director of Financial Reporting at Alvogen, a privately-owned, U.S.-based company focused on developing, in-licensing, manufacturing and marketing pharmaceutical products. He also held senior positions at Bausch Health Companies Inc., a global branded and generic pharmaceuticals company.
Rajiv brings extensive public company U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) financial reporting and technical accounting and tax capabilities, along with operational controllership acumen working in revenue management, credit and collections, corporate accounting, financial systems, acquisition/divestiture and integration work.
Rajiv is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds an M.S. in accounting from Babson College, and a B.S. in accounting from University of Scranton.
